Love

VogueKnitLive

Wow, a lot of time has passed since my last post! Things have been very busy at work, but my newfound love for knitting has been keeping me sane and so happy. Here’s a picture of my (new) hubby and the scarf I knitted up for him! 🙂 Plus his new shoes for Christmas! 😍😁

Today Ray took me to the NYC VogueKnitLive which is a yarn/knitter’s idea of heaven. Vendors from all over the world gather for this convention and it is a sweet sweet place! My husband made sure to bring his headphones and extra phone batteries. 👍

So many beautiful soft yarn to choose from!!!! I held on to my husband’s creditcard and did my damage!!!!

I always wanted to try giant needle knitting! My wish came true!!! 😍😍😍
My beautiful new collection of yarn plus big needles. I also won a free Lee Child audiobook 😍😝. Some of the yarn were $36 per skein 😱😅😭 but how could I say no?!?! I discovered many new favorite yarn companies today, and it was such an exciting day for me!!! I’m also excited about using my little yarnbowl! 👍💕

I need to thank my wonderful husband for not complaining once and following me everywhere and holding all my bags. Plus thank you for not freaking out over the cost of yarn and being so understanding about my passion. I’m not sure I can be as nice as him when it comes to his hobbies….which is Crossfit and working out hahaa 😅😅

I missed the blogging world! ⛄️😁

Crossfit and Relaxation

Today I went to R’s Crossfit gym bright and early in the morning. After the WOD (workout of the day), R and I and his friend (pictured below) fooled around with jumproping and I attempted to climb the rope. Did I make it to the top? Definitely not…hahaha Afterwards, we went to get a yummy smoothie (honey, banana, peanut butter, soy milk) and I focused on some knitting. Before going home, R and I went to Barnes and Noble. It’s so sad all the locations in Queens are closing this year. 😭😭😭 So of course I had to buy a couple of things… When I got home I did more shopping damage online for YARN!! It costed an arm and a leg but well worth it!!! 🙂 Can’t wait and in the meantime I will have to just knit faster! 💪👍

Knitted Blanket Finito!!

I’ve been working on this blanket for a long long time and I finally finished it! R already used it last night and I’m so happy with the way it turned out! 👍😁💕💪

My bridal shower!

Yesterday I was given the most beautiful bridal shower by my loving friends. So much thought went into the party-every little detail had ‘Susanna’ on it! The brightness- especially the hot pink!! Gift bags for guests with little decoration details included with Korean face masks!!!! Chocolate mousse cake and eggs benedict…all my favorite! 🙂 Here are some of the pictures for you to enjoy! I ended up wearing the LWD I got from Express! 🙂 What a perfect occassion to wear it to!

BOTD (Bags of the Day)

My cute bag I got from my Philly trip a few years back. Saw someone carrying it and I told myself I had to have it…and so I found it! 🙂 Red Cole Haan heels for my dinner date with the ladies! ❤

Another one of my favorites! It’s super big and roomy inside, but still filled to the brim! I got it many years ago from Gilt.com – Matt & Nat.

Arbonne Product Review

IMG_1047

My friend, Lisbeth, is an independent consultant for Arbonne which is a company that’s all about being green. Arbonne uses botanically based ingredients, and they state earth friendly has everything to do with who they are and how they choose to grow. I love products that are healthy to the world and that is pure and safe. If you go on their website they have a list of ingredients they use for their products and how it is beneficial to the skin. 🙂 Arbonne formulas are based on botanical skin care principles and formulated without Animal products or animal by-products, parabens, formaldehyde, PABA, mineral oil, petrolatum and phthalates toluene. Lisbeth sent R and I samples to test out knowing I love natural skincare products, and we couldn’t wait to test it out! 🙂

R and I found the Arbonne products to be lightweight and gentle on the skin. I love how quickly the product absorbs into my skin. My skin felt softer and moisturized almost immediately after applying it. (I really love the sample packs, because you can test out all the products in their skincare collection for a few days and see how your skin reacts to it!) I have sensitive skin so I’m always worried about an allergic reaction but all the products were great. I’m happy, because since the cooler weather, my skin has been quite dry. All the products R and I tried out were for the face, and it’s been looking smoother and firmer since trying Arbonne. I’ll definitely also be looking into their makeup line in the near future! 🙂

Please check out Lisbeth’s site for Arbonne for more information:
