Brunch at the Barking Dog! It was a yummy simple breakfast meal with freshly squeezed orange juice included for $8.95! That’s really cheap for a city meal! 🙂 R got a chicken fajita wrap and it was really delicious. Really cute joint!

Bluemercury is not a store/website I normally shop at, but I did some online shopping for the first time after seeing their envious 16th anniversary sample bag. Why did I see it?!! The deal is still going on, and if you spend $150 you will get their anniversary bag for free. (You see the blue bag? That contains all the free goodies…oh yea~~~)

My first Kawaii Box!

KB-728x90_pink

Hello everyone!!!! Wow, it has been over a week since I last posted! Can you tell I started work again and I’ve been super busy? 🙂 I’ve been off for the summer, and now I’m back to school! So far I only had a few kids come in, but I’m sure by Wednesday it will be a busier classroom. It’s been crazy setting up, creating/printing/laminating work, purchasing things for the classroom, and picking up donation toys for the room. Tonight is the first night since I started working that I have some time to relax and breathe. Due to the Jewish holiday, we have Monday and Tuesday off. YAY! Gives me more time to prepare for the classroom (my car is completely full of things to bring back on Wednesday!) and I was able to clean and cook. Anyways, today has been a big shopping/package day as well! This post will be dedicated to the Kawaii Box!

My Beauty Diary: Cactus Mask (Review)

IMG_9751

Hello everyone! I recently did a review on another My Beauty Diary Aloe Mask which I loved and enjoyed! 🙂 This time I tried the cactus mask which was nice overall, but I did get a slight burning sensation above my eyebrows and on my chin for a minute or two. Not sure whey I had a slight reaction to this one when I was fine with the aloe. I do like the ingredients for this mask, buts I don’t like it when products give me the burning sensation so I probably won’t purchase the cactus mask again. 😦

Lioele: Waterdrop Sleeping Pack (Review)

IMG_0040

I found this gem when I was researching K-beauty products, because it was featured on a lot of blogs and websites as a top seller. ($16 at SOKOGLAM) It’s a moisturizing mask with a light barely there scent to it. It is also supposed to reduce the redness and firm your skin. It is an oil-free product, and there is no stickiness to it. After you cleanse your face you apply a generous amount 1-2 times a week – no need to put your night cream on! I have used this product many times and it hasn’t really made a dent on the tube. Plus check out the water droplets it forms on your skin!

Can’t wait to see the Disney makeup goodies, thank you once again! 🙂 Winning this giveaway inspired me to host one myself. Most of my followers are beauty lovers just like me so I know they would appreciate the prizes! I have been loving K-beauty products so I am including the following:

  1. TonyMoly: Broccoli Face Mask Sheet ($7.50 for 2 at Sephora)
  2. Holika Holika: Mango Juicy Face Mask Sheet ($2.20 at Beauteque)
  3. Club Clio: Lipnicure (Color: Cynical Orange) ($20 at Club Clio) – this product looks like a nail polish but it is a lipstick in gloss form for a matte look. Extremely pigmented!! I actually have not tried it myself, but wanting to! 🙂
  4. Club Clio: Gelpresso Glow Tint (Color: Killheel Red) ($18 at Club Clio) – another lip product that you twist to use. It gives you the Korean gradient lip look ~

MAC: Lip Gloss Patentpolish Lip Pencil in Spontaneous

IMG_9784

Me and my lovely sister C went shopping today! It was a day full of awesome deals for me! 🙂 Maybe I’ll share my purchases on another post, but I definitely wanted to share my MAC buy for all you beauty lovers. I originally went to MAC to look at regular lipsticks – I checked out the colors Taupe & Brick O La, but I ended up purchasing a completely different style of lip wear! I noticed a jumbo lip pencil on the side so I tested it out due to the cute packaging. You twist the bottom when you need more (like a regular lipstick, no need to sharpen oowhOooo), and it looks like a big crayon, but it glides on like a lip gloss (slightly sticky but it doesn’t bother me like regular lip gloss, I likey!). Slightly sheer and moisturizing but you get your color!
